Our second student-teacher meeting was held on 24th of April,2021. We had a great time and all of the students played a game on Nearpod in the end.

My students learnt  definitions as digital footprints , responsible online behaviors,control over their footprint etc.Then they created  a collaborative digital footprint poster on Canva template .

My students made photo montage after they were informed about altered/montage photos and how to distinguish between the real and the fake. They had fun making photo montage while understanding that it is possible with every content on the internet, therefore they will double check the news before posting something related.

AUMAN ÇAKIR-Atatürk Secondary School - For thi final process students made photo montage after they were informed about montage photos and how to distinguish between the real and the fake. They had fun while creating their dream photos.

 

Huriye ULUÖZ - Distinguishing What's Real and What's Fake

Students were introduced the new task and read the plan. They observed some photos on the internet. They discussed if they are real or fake. They realized that some internet content can be altered in order to disinform people.

Students montaged their photos using some Web2 tools such as Spark Adobe, Makaron, etc. and they had fun. They became aware of the importance of double-checking and verifying the sources on the internet.

 

ASUMAN ÇAKIR- Atatürk Secondary School-For the SECOND PROCESS students played a related game prepared by our project partner, Dimitra Rouvoli.Also they learnt to verify a source by fact-checking.

During our online lesson we had a very interesting conversation about what is real and what is fake. We also talked about how easy it is to make a fake photo and made some fake photos ourselves using Spark adobe! We had great fun!!!

Orinta Šalkuvienė / A fun and interesting conversation between students and teachers

 

Naciye Selin Taştekin-Şehit Güngör Dolunay Primary School/"DIGITAL CITIZENTS" discussed the dictioary task in the chat room

 Team "DIGITAL CITIZENTS" under the guidance of mentor teachers N.Selin and Orinta Šalkuvienė met in the chat room to discuss the dictionary task and the future tasks. We all had fun and at the end of the meeting all teams joined the chatroom and mingled. The kids wouldn't leave the chatroom as they had so much fun together.

Students in the team 'Digital Ethics Warriors' completed their task concerning the child-friendly dictionary of Internet terms and all of the teachers and students met in the chat room. It was really a great experience for them.
